The Latest Info About Honda’s Upcoming Electric SUV
2024 Honda Prologue Release Date and Specs
With the popularity and capability of today’s electric vehicles, it seems like there is exciting news every day about some new electric model in the works. One such model is from Honda, and it’s the 2024 Honda Prologue. Though the model isn’t yet available for a test drive, we have the latest information on its upcoming release date and the specs that have been made available so far.
For a little background, the Prologue is the upcoming fully electric SUV from Honda. The electric capability promises to be “futuristic,” but even more futuristic is that Honda used virtual reality technology in its design process for the Prologue. It truly is a vehicle for a new generation of Honda drivers.
What We Know About the Prologue Specs So Far
Though Honda does currently have a Prologue page up on their website, they have still been somewhat secretive about some of its details. That said, Honda has released plenty of photos that make it possible to make some safe assumptions about a few of its amenities.
For example, it’s clear that the Prologue will be available with a digital instrument cluster, and a large one at that. The central display also appears to be fairly large, with a size estimated to be just over 11 inches measured diagonally. Honda has noted that the Prologue will offer a panoramic roof. This will no doubt offer some nice lighting for the shiny and metallic-looking accents that we can see in the cabin. Speaking of the cabin, we also know that the Prologue will offer a sizeable 102.6 cubic feet of interior space.
As for the exterior, the Prologue will boast 21-inch wheels and a wheelbase that should be capable enough for some rugged driving. We can also tell from the photos that the Prologue will have some LED lighting and a front-third mounted battery plug-in port.

When Will the Honda Prologue Go On Sale?
Unfortunately, the information most people probably want to know, which is electric driving distance and charging capability, hasn’t been made available. We could only guess.
The other bad news is that we don’t know exactly when this model will go on sale. As a 2024 model year vehicle, we wouldn’t expect it to show up in dealerships until 2024. That said, it wouldn’t be a stretch for it to go on sale sometime late this year.
For now, all we can do is wait. We’ll be sure to keep you updated here at Honda of Marysville, so if you want to check in on its availability for a test drive, feel free to contact our team here at the dealership.
