Touch-A-Truck

Great for children with an interest in trucks and service vehicles of all kind, the city of Marysville is hosting Touch-A-Truck in Asbery Field from 10 AM to 1 PM on September 11th. Children will be allowed to set off police and emergency vehicle sirens, discover a host of vehicles from street sweepers to fire engines to police cars. The event itself is free and also offers a free train ride on the grounds for the whole family.

Evergreen State Fair

The annual Evergreen Fair in Monroe, running Sept 2nd – 6th, is open for visitors, so get your tickets now! The fair is an all-ages event, with attractions like carnival games and rides for children, a giant outdoor food court with an assortment of carnival snacks and whole meals to choose from, and a variety of farm activities including livestock breed judging, agrarian displays, and plenty of petting zoo opportunities for kids.

You can also swing by the nursery yourself, as Sunnyside is open from 9am – 5pm Monday through Saturday.
