Rairdon Auto Group Donates 1200 Backpacks to Hopelink
Back to school means giving back, so Rairdon Auto Group recently collected over 1200 backpacks to donate to local kids living below the poverty line.
Rairdon & Hopelink Combine Forces for Seattle’s Kids
Few things say “great future” like success at school.
And this, in turn, depends on our kids having all the right tools.
So that’s exactly what we stuffed our 1200 backpacks with!
As we filled them with scissors, pens, glue, crayons, and all
sorts of other goodies, we happily imagined the great use
that local, Seattle-area kids would put them to.
Then, with our heavy lifting complete,
we headed for the shining light of Hopelink’s drop-off center.
The Team’s (Seriously Big) Delivery
With plenty of smiles, our team members got behind the wheel
and into passenger seats, for a rendezvous with the volunteers at Hopelink.
Our haul included 1200 school-supply stuffed backpacks
(stuffed into 4 Dodge SUVs and a Ram ProMaster).
After a helping hand from Hopelink’s staff,
the precious cargo was one step closer to being in the hands of students!
