Honda is always working on upgrading its vehicles to ensure that they deliver the latest and greatest features and performance available in the automotive industry. Now, it’s time for an upgrade to the Honda HR-V.

What’s new for the model in 2023? Well, pretty much everything. That’s right, the 2023 Honda HR-V is “all-new” and features the best that Honda has to offer in terms of technology, performance and style.

2023 Upgrades to the HR-V

One of the biggest upgrades that the HR-V has received for this year is a new engine. The previous 1.8-liter unit was already pretty great, but it’s now even better, with a 2.0-liter engine under the hood that is capable of delivering 158 horsepower. This is paired to a continuously variable automatic transmission.

Of course, the design is also completely new, both inside and out. The seats were redesigned and are now more supportive than ever. The exterior design now boasts a more modern and stylish appearance. Overall, the HR-V is also a bit bigger than it was before. In fact, it is now roughly the same size as the CR-V used to be, so both of these models have gone up a size.

That larger size helps a lot when it comes to cargo space. If you’ve wondered whether such a small crossover can actually provide much more additional cargo space than your typical sedan, then wonder no more. The 2023 HR-V boasts a maximum cargo capacity of 55.1 cubic feet. For comparison, the 2023 Honda Accord has a trunk cargo space of just 16.7 cubic feet, which is plentiful but not nearly as much as the HR-V.

Last but not least is the new pricing. The 2023 HR-V starts at an MSRP of just $23,800.* Apple CarPlay and AWD are available features on higher trim levels. There are three trim levels in total, the highest of which includes parking sensors and a 9-inch touch screen display.
